Baked Pork Chops

Baked Pork Chops is an easy, quick and delicious oven-baked recipe for a main dish. Ingredients include: Red cabbage, apples and boneless chops with a seasoned coating mix. 6 cups shredded red cabbage (about 1/2 lb)
1/2 cup light raspberry-vinaigrette salad dressing
6 boneless pork chops (1-1/2 lb total), 3/4″ thick
1 envelope seasoned coating mix for pork
(such as shake-n-bake), or other brand

2 red cooking apples
(use Jonathan, Cortland or Gala), cut in wedges


1. Preheat oven to 400° F.

2. Place shredded cabbage in a 13″x9″ baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; drizzle with the salad dressing.

3. Coat chops with coating mix as directed on package; place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.

4. Place chops and cabbage in oven. Cook 30 minutes or until chops are done (145° F.) and cabbage is tender, stirring apples into cabbage mixture after 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Let chops stand 3 minutes before serving. Serve with cabbage mixture.

YIELD: 6 Servings.
