Blue Cheese Dip
Blue Cheese Dip is an easy and quick (10-15) minute recipe for any large gathering, such as a holiday or any special event. Ingredients include: Blue Cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise , lemon juice and scallions. It is also well seasoned and then all ingredients are combined together for a creamy and delicious dip. A perfect dip which works perfectly for cut-up veggies. This is also a healthy, low calories, low fat, low sugars, low sodium, low cholesterol, low carbohydrates, diabetic-friendly, heart-healthy and Weight Watchers (4 SmartPoints), (2 PointsPlus) recipe. Prep Time: 10-15 Minutes.
1/2 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
(4 oz) blue cheese crumbles
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tsp all-purpose seasoning
Freshl cracked black pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 scallion, minced
1. In medium-size bowl, combine together the sour cream, mayonnaise, blue cheese and lemon juice.
2. Add in the all-purpose seasoning, black pepper, parsley and scallion. Stir to combine.
3. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serving Suggestion. This works well for cut up fresh vegetables such as carrots.
Yield: 10 Servings.
