Indian-Style Salad

Indian-Style Salad is a delicious,easy and quick (25) minute recipe for a spicy vegetable side. Ingredients include: radishes, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, lime juice, apple and hot chiles. It is well-seasoned with cumin, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt and crushed red pepper. 1 cup quartered radishes
1 cup finely chopped red onion
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
4to5 Tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
1 tsp roasted ground cumin
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
2 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
3 Persian cucumbers, (halved lengthwise;
then cut crosswise into 1/4″ slices)

1 Honeycrisp apple,
cored & finely chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)

1 serrano chile, finely diced (about 1 Tbsp)


1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; toss well.

2. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired. Add more lime juice if desired.

Yield: 6 Servings.
Serving Size: 1-1/3 cups per serving.
