Spicy Cheese Dip
Spicy Cheese Dip is a delicious recipe for a very creamy and spicy cheese dip. This would work well for any large crowds, events and holiday gatherings such as Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is also an easy recipe that takes only (10) minutes to prepare and could made up to 24 hours ahead of time. Feta cheese, roasted red peppers, yogurt and crushed red pepper are the only ingredients in this super easy dip. This is also a low calories, low fat, low cholesterol, low sodium,, low carbohydrates, low sugars, heart-healthy, diabetic-friendly and Weight Watchers (1 SmartPoints), (1 PointsPlus) recipe. Makes: (10) servings. Spicy Cheese Dip will be loved by all of your family, friends and guests.
Prep Time: 10 minutes.
1 (3.5 oz) pkg. reduced-fat Feta cheese crumbles, divided
1 (7 oz) jar roasted red peppers, drained, patted dry
1/4 cup plain non-fat Greek-style yogurt
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
1. Remove 1 Tbsp of the Feta cheese from package and set aside.
2. Place remaining Feta cheese, red peppers, yogurt and crushed red pepper in a food processor. Process until smooth.
3. Serve topped with the reserved cheese. Serve immediately.
NOTE: This dip can be prepared ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 24 hours before serving.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with cucumber slices, bell pepper strips and/or pita chips.
Yield: 10 Servings.
